Hey guys! Ok, the blog has been really really really dead. But I'm here to update! :)
As all of you know our SYF will be on 19April! We've come a long way and now we have 26 more days to go! 26days, to some people it may seem short. But right now, its all the time we have left.
Seemed like just yesterday when I was just a sec2 participating in 2009's SYF, now its our turn to lead you guys to the competition. The ride hasn't been smooth sailing. We still have our flaws, but I believe that we ARE able to do this. We ARE able to achieve that Gold with Honors. If you want something, you've got to work for it, put in your all and you WILL achieve it. It hasn't been easy, and no one said the coming 26days will be any easier. Especially when we have less than 10days after SYF to prepare for Mid-year, but that feeling when they announce the results, when they announce "Chung Cheng High School(Main), Gold with Honors!" Trust me, that feeling will be unforgettable.
Sec4/3s, this is our last SYF with CCHMSGZ, lets make this experience an unforgettable one and put in our all and achieve the best. Show everyone else that the Gold with Honors that we attained 2years back is not just for show. Cause guys, we ARE a GWH ensemble.
Sec2s, this is your first SYF with us, and 2years down the road, you'll be leading your fellow juniors to the competition too. Make this an amazing experience so you'll be able to tell your juniors the same as we've told you guys.
It will be tiring, but it WILL be worth it.

This is regarding 30th November CCHMSGZ Outing @ ECP.

Here are the details:

Meeting time: 10.30am
Meeting Place: Parkway Parade(Outside KFC)
Area we will be at in ECP: ECP Area E. (Near East Coast Food Centre & Bedok Jetty)
How we will be getting there?: Form ECP, we will be boarding a bus opposite Parkway Parade (92041), Alighting at Hua Xin Court, Marine Parade Road, 8 stops later.
If we decide to change route we will inform you on that day alright.

BBQ will start at approx 5pm.
Amount to pay: $6
What to wear?: Something comfortable. You can either wear shoes/slippers. Please note that you will do some running as there will be a so-called amazing race. It will be best if you wear shorts.
What to bring?:

Water bottle(if you want and do not think that its heavy)
Extra sets of clothing(if you will be going to play at the beach, yes you will have free time)
A mat(in case not enough places to sit during bbq)
Camera phone that can take decent pictures&video/camera
Anything else that you think is necessary
Note: Try to keep your things light. We will be leaving our things at the bbq pit. However if you do not think it is safe you can choose to bring your things along. Or just bring your valuables along in a small pouch/bag.

What time you can go home?: After bbq most preferably. Around 7pm?

We left 2days till the actual performance! Alright, here is a list of things you MUST bring with you on Wednesday.

Please be reminded that we will be having a Technical Run at La Salle tomorrow(17 August). All to report at 11.20am at Guzheng room. Please remember to bring your silver heels along!

Please report to gz room at 10.30am with foundation and hair done up on Wednesday(18 August). Estimated time of dismissal will be about 9.30pm-10.00pm.

You are allowed to report to school at 10am on Thursday(19 August), do take note that you are to report to Ms Ho at the concourse before heading to your class.

We have only ONE more rehearsal left till the actual day! Pass few lessons have been tiring I'm sure. But just one more day alright! Trust me, Wednesday's performance will be enjoyable and memorable for all of you :) Jyous guys! :)

Hello gaizzz, the school rules have became stricter this time, so here are a few things for you all to take note of:

1. Students who have not submitted their consent forms, please bring it on Wednesday(23/06).
-If you do not give us the consent forms by Wed(23/06) or if your parents did not give consent and you turn up for the camp, we will either call your parents or you will be sent home immediately.

2. Please make sure your hair is black (as in not dyed), and your nails are not polished. If caught, you will be sent home too -.-

3. Slippers are only allowed during bathing time and sleeping time. Yeahh, so after bathing everybody must change back into shoes until sleeping time.

4. Home clothes will only be allowed at night. Other than that, you all must be in school-related clothing.

5. Girl's hair must be tied at all times in the day.

6. Please bring an extra pair of shoes (covered shoes) because we may be having water games and we don't want you to be wearing the wet/muddy shoes after that. Especially whn there is phototaking on Friday.

Okay, that's all(: I know it's really annoying but still have to follow alright. See you guys in camp :D

Camp dates has been confirmed.

It will be held on 23rd to 25th June. Overnight on 23rd, head home at about 5pm on the 24th. Return back at around noon till 6 on the 25th. We will need to confirm meals on wed and money will be collected on fri. It'll be $14.50 per person.

And, seniors who are coming back please inform Yiying/Joy via 96477937(Yiying) or 92453613(Joy). Please state if you want food to be provided for you too!

Hey all! There will be a performance held by Cedar Girl's School. Here are the details;

Time: Saturday,24 April 2010, 7.30 pm - 9pm

hello, today being the 1st october, i want to wish all of you guys out there A HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY !!! Ok, to me its nothing much because i sort of got over it for three years alrd, but for the sec1s, its ok to be sad and haha i wont do anything to make you happy cause you need to accept it. HAHA ok no more nonsense.

In case you are wondering when cca is going to start, it should be after the debriefs. So..... in the mean time, all of you should try to put your best into your studies and get some good grades for yourself. Ok, i have to admit, we sec3s havent really been doing something about the CCA. Its like after we step up, its the period when CCA stops for H1N1, then we finally had a few lessons. Hmmm you guys learn quite abit in 6 weeks right, so claps!!! haha then it stopped during the september holidays all the way till now so, we have not been seeing each other for quite some time. But dont worry so much, after exams, we shall be hoping things to be fine and we will have lots of fun.

Oh we are gng to have camp right, haha sec3s gonna plan soon so you can be prepared and excited haha. But what i worry is the second wave of virus that hit mexico would hit us then later we have no more time so, pray hard. Its going to get better after the exams so, in the mean time, just focus on your exams and dont think so much. We will be messaging you all about any details, alright. haha so, seeya around in sch!

Hey guys, TanAnn here (: Just to inform all of you, Zheng Ensemble ( www.zheng-ensemble.blogspot.com ) will be having a concert on the 20th of September at the Singapore Conference Hall at 7.30pm. Our purpose of this particular concert aims to raise funds for the victims in TaiWan who are greatly affected by the Typhoon Morakot. All our ticket sales will be donated to the Tzu Chi foundation where the money will be specifically given to the victims. There will be guzheng performances from Zheng Ensemble, Kong Hwa&FuHua Primary school guzheng ensembles, NUS Chinese Orchestra, BeiJing Normal University Alumni Association (Singapore) and famous local artist Billy Wang. The tickets are priced at $300/$200/$100/$50/$30/$20. Hello, for any possiblities that the messages sent out werent received, i'm here to inform you guys that Guzheng will be postponed till further notice because of the H1N1. Likely there wouldn't be cca for the coming few weeks, so take this time, have a good rest after the effort you have put in for the first half year. Regarding the instructor part, i'll inform you guys once i get the slightest notice from Mr Ng k. See you guys soon, hopefully and certain sec3s will be after you for the money you have to pay if you paid for the SYF photos. Manage your studies properly, and we'll be back for more fun soon.

Hello everyone again :DD I don't know why I'm ditching my own blog for this blog ha ha but I'm just alot more active here! Anyway I know most of us are all very stressed over exams and things like that, but all the best for mugging and take care of yourselves okaye :D Don't fall sick so easily ha ha. CCHMSGZ must excel in both studies and cca, afterall, tht's wht makes us CCHMSGZ (:

Anyway I guess most of you who've been here have read Jiahang's tag about how her blog got flamed, or rather, her content on her blog got criticised by people who chanced upon her blog. Chill chill people, ha ha in case anyone of you feels very offended about it, just chill okaye :D We need not give any direct response to them because, first of all, we do not owe them any explanation or things like that alright! We can just well leave them to be, because we know all that we've done, all that we've sacrifised for makes it most deserving for the result that we've gotten. True enough, it was shocking that we actually managed to get a Gold with Honour right. And I guess that explains why we were so overwhelmed with emotions that it took us a very long time to calm ourselves down ( & I'm sure many of us haven't gotten over the honour craze! ). And we're all really proud that we've finally done something to let Chen LaoShi be happy and proud about right? I'm really very very very very very very happy each time I picture LaoShi's expression when we were the first school to shout out our gratitude towards him. I guess that, no matter whether we got the Honour or not, we would still do that right guys? Because we don't do it to show others, we don't do it to announce to others( because we don't even see it as a competition with other schools, just ourselves ), we do it simply, share our own joy and really let LaoShi know how much we love him.

Maybe there are many people who thinks that we're exaggerating it. We may totally seem mediocre, by the way we totally allowed ourselves to let loose and really go crazily happy over our results. But yea guys, we have to admit it. We are mediocre in the eyes of the others, but we're our own victors. Why? Because what others see us as, is that we're happy because we've finally gotten our first Honour AFTER SO MANY YEARS. But to ourselves, I'm sure we know that we've carried the hopes of all our seniors from our previous batches, with their support and love, to fight through this tough battle. We've finally done what many others saw as impossible to bring pride and glory to those we are supporting us all these while.

Be glad that we really went wild together when we knew about the results alright, CCHMSGZ(: Remember the "conference" us Sec4s organised a week before SYF, & how I said about, whatever the result will be, I hope that we'll be able to cheer and cry together. This is because, if we're really a family who feels for the things that we do together as a whole, we'll really feel genuinely happy with no restrictions. At times, we have heard that the most genuine kind of happiness and joy comes from simplicity. It's our first Honour, the one which we can feel the most for. When the happiness from the result combines with the hardwork and pain accumulated from the long and tedious journey we took on to come this far, this mixture of emotions, is truly plainly pure happiness. Perhaps the same kind of pride may come differently for different kinds of people, which neither all of u nor myself can comment on. This applies the same for how the rest can never know how greatly we feel for this pride.

We definitely need not be the best which everyone else recognise as to know that we're great by ourselves alright :D It's because of our previous silvers where we gain our experiences from, whereby we learn how to work hard with our own effort, whereby we all give in our best and not just take credits, whereby we create our common space to learn to love and share. This makes us, CCHMSGZ, a family. Not a big one maybe, but definitely a cosy one :D

Alright everyone, jiayou for exams okaye! Without realising, I've actually typed so much. Sorry that I'm naggy and have too much time lar okaye haha! But before I end this post, I have a very interesting short interaction which I find pretty funny. It's between me and my friend namely Darlene ( I guess a number of you know her, right? )

Ha ha, during the esplanade performance, the two of us have been crazily addicted to the childish " cherry cherry long jiam pas pas pas! " game. Lol, but we were so lame that whenever we finished a game, we'd just totally call each other " Sore Loser ". This is extremely hilarious because we were just playing the game according to the rules, properly, ( & we both know it! )but we just wanted to call each other names to make ourselves feel better by not acknowledging the winner's victory in the hand game. Ha ha but it was all for fun lar, I still love my bimbo friend :D

Just a short nothing for you guys to laugh about alright! Love all of you and I can't wait for guzheng to resume! ALL THE BEST FOR EXAMS!

& Sec4s would like to take this opportuinty to thank Chen LaoShi for the treat on Friday at Sakae! Sorry juniors that it was only the sec4s okaye, tomorrow we'll all celebrate it together okaye!

Come to think of it, we've been through quite alot as an ensemble. And I know it truly affects us at least even a wee bit when we hear about what other people have to say about us, as in those negative stuffs. These are just examples, so do not be discouraged by negative comments alright. As long as we continue doing our best, the rest will see it :D

For the past many years, we've been looked down upon and at times, trampled over. Because we haven't got the support, because we didn't have what seemed to be the only visible awards - the medals. We were just so close, but yet it wasn't ours. These years haven been tough on us, and all that we lived on was our faith, love and care for everyone else. Also, without Chen Laoshi&teachers in charge, it would have been tough.

Today, we've done it. We've finally rewritten the history, with an honour. True, it may seem unbelievable, but who cares, we've got it. Have we not worked hard enough for our success? Have we not done things which the others couldn't? Could it be possible if we really didn't even have what it takes at all? Perhaps we may seem arrogant to the rest, but... I guess we're just veryvery happy and proud of ourselves for attaining what we did. Many of us thought that the rest will share our joy but, after these few days, we have come to a realization that, not all the rest feels our joy. Does it really matter? No darlings, no they don't. Because we all know how difficult this whole journey has been ourselves. We all know how much effort and time we've put in, how bitter things have been at times.

So remember, do not fret over the pointless negative views from the rest, but rejoice for what we've managed to get :D

Therefore all, remember to enjoy yourselves tomorrow during mini celebration okaye (:

Love you all mwahaha ENJOY OKAYEEEEE! WE GOT OUR HONOUR, NO MATTER WHAT, WE ARE THE BEST :D We don't need to compare with other people, or other cca. Because other cca, they are not guzheng, so why compare? Other people, they do not know exactly what we went through and we have our own medals, our own results. We do not need to bother about whether we are better than other schools or not, because we're alrdy the best with the own result that we've gotten :DDDD

When we turn to look back,

Hi all from the Gold with Honour ensemble, you guys are really my pride! As a leader, as a sec4, as a senior, as a member of part of this ensemble, I'm really very glad that we've all put in our best for the success that we've finally managed to attain on the 21st of April! We've finally done it, for all our graduated seniors, our juniors who are going to join us very soon, & most imptly, ourselves :D We've got back what we should have since two yrs back, with a greater comeback.

I'm sure many of us have heard about some very nasty comments from the rest of the people, & perhaps also from the rest of the population from our own school. But guess what people, we must really thank those who made those funnily subjective stuffs because without their presence, our success will never be this sweet. & Thanks to all those who thoroughly stepped on us over&again through these years because you guys are the ones who made us even more determined to acheive our goal, which we eventually did :D Thank you very much, & I would hereby, like to take this opportunity to give my upmost respect and gratitude to all of you. Thank you very much.

Coming back to ourselves, juniors and peers, I'm really really really really very very very very proud of all of us and extremely elated that I am actually part of this ensemble(!!!) When our hands were squeezed together and the way we squirmed and screamed after we knew the result, I swear I'll never ever forget the whole scenerio. We were really cool ( no matter how much the other schools doubted our abilities, no matter how much the people in school thinks that we suck )! & Today's announcement, I think we did the school proud even though some of the people from various ccas were taken aback& started sprouting nonsnese. Darlings, we forgive them, for we've alrdy proven them wrong, thoroughly. Thank all of you guys for being in this ensemble, thank all of you for co-operating, thank all of you for putting this ensemble as your concern, thank all of you for everything that we have now :D

Also, I think everyone will share my sentiments on this. Thank you to all the teachers&also seniors who gave us their undying support and help through the whole time!! Thank you very much Chen LaoShi, Michelle LaoShi, Vivien LaoShi, Huang Laoshi, Ms Ho, J1s, J2s, Pearlyn and all our supporters! Without all their encouragement and help, we wouldn't have been able to come so far. & Chen Laoshi, thank you for all the help&opportunities you've given to us! Not forgetting the esplanade experience, it really did help us alot! & Even though Laoshi doesn't always tell us about how he cares for the whole thing, we know that we can feel that Laoshi is with us all the time, even when we've disappointed him , even when we couldn't get the school to give him more support. Although Chen LaoShi may be leaving us, our gratitude towards him is unmeasurable! Sometimes I, or maybe we, may feel so helpless when we cannot get the school to see from Laoshi's view or give us more support, but today, I believe that we've at least returned a little bit of what Laoshi should deserve for helping us so much! & That is,the glory all of us can get, from Gold w Honours. ( Xie xie ni Chen Laoshi, wo men dou hen ai ni!!!!!! )

Lastly, thank you all for giving me such a pleasant memory and also, achievement, before we leave. And juniors, now us ( sec4s ) will be able to leave in pride&honour! I believe we've all grown up quite alot through this period of time, to see the changes which took place within the whole ensemble! Everything will have a tough headstart, but as long as you guys persevere on, things will be fine. With faith&pride, you guys will be able to do it! Jiayou Jiayou(!!) And the time that sec4s have with all of you guys will not be left with much, so I hope all of us can cherish the time left that we can have alright :D There'll still be camps and such, & of course we'll still try to be back for practises after exams, so we must spend more time together alright!(:

Also, I hope that now that we've all that it takes, more of you will put the Beijing trip into your consideration okaye! If it's financial problems, please do not worry because the school will be able to come up with more funds especially when.... ( YEA... ) If it's because of studies, please try to make your parents understand the importance of this trip! It's really a very good and hard-to-get opportunity! Not everyone can step into the music colleges there anytime, anywhen alright! Please try to understand how much it will be able to help yourself and also the future cchmsgz alright! :D

I really love all of you guys and this whole ensemble! Gold w Honours this time have proven to us that nothing's impossible and no labels will be stuck on anyone forever! Remember that, we can be proud of ourselves for our achievements, & maybe we can remain a tad bit arrogant for these few days. But rmb, we've to maintain the standard& not be arrogant for the whole time! Rmb, laoshi once said, " Jiao1 Bing1 Bi4 Bai4, Ai1 Bing1 Bi4 Sheng4. " & Yes, it's true right? We were Ai1 Bing1, but we'll never allow ourselves to be Jiao1 Bing1!

Hi all, haha everyone knows syf's in less than 24h time& yes darlings, I'm veryveryveryvery scared/nervous/excited/anxious and rather stressed up now. well, its coming to the end of the year already, and the more stuffs we really had to do. Most importantly, is the up-coming SYF that would really be needed to prove ourselves, not only to laoshi, school but to ourselves. I know that recently coming to guzheng might seem very boring, playing songs over and over again, backs are breaking and yet we are still engrossing ourselves in the music. Honestly,i really appreciate all of you guys who come no matter how tiring it is and giving our best. Its not only for yourselves but for everyone of us :D

alright as an appreciation, the upcoming activites would definitely cheer you up :
1)We shall organise guzheng outings , go out lar, watch movies anything.

I'm here to remind all of you who haven't pass the construction paper to any of of the sec3s,please remember to do so on wednesday during Cca. Also, those who do not have construction paper from us, it's okaye to write your message on a plain white paper. It is important that everyone has 2 written construction papers to 2 different teachers and be passed to us BY WEDNESDAY.

Also, please do not forget to bring along the consent form for the day camp! It's important and be reminded that the date of the camp will be on the 6th of September.Further notices will be announced on a later date :D

Lastly, make full use of the holidays to enjoy yourselves!I know the amount of guzheng practises is rather taxing, but we'll enjoy the end product eventually.JIAYOU!

because,we're going to fight for our dreams.

hey alright,i know many of you,or maybe no.some of you think that going for guzheng lessons lately is very taxing&draining you guys out.&tht's why,you guys don't feel like going for guzheng lessons.but i really hope that all of you will understand that,all that we're doing now,is eventually for ourselves.we've come so far,from practising the songs,till now it's down to actions.i know some of you think that we don't see your effort to move no matter how hard you try but yet continue pushing you guys.acty,fact is we all do see the effort coming from each and every of you,it's just that..we still need to push you guys further.because trying your best&breaking through your own limits just ain't enough.we need to do it,we need to continue fighting.to be better than all the other people,to be able to be the best.

as in seriously,we don't enjoy asking you guys to move too.we really don't.because each time we ask you guys to do so,seeing some who's really trying to move&you can see the drive within them as they really want to make it ,compared to some who we can only see effort in trying,it really feels as though we are unappreciated.we all know that you guys are trying,but is the amount of trying really enough?we know how hard it is,we've been through all these.&tht is exactly why,we don't want to only wait till 1 month before SYF that we can really see everyone's drive.because..we would all have lost our confidence by then.

it really isn't anything nice to hear laoshi say tht he has given all hopes on us&voiding off the campfire performance.because it feels totally as though all our effort was unreciprociated.but the thing now is,have we all realised the danger within all the small things which are spoken?have we all felt that we need to do it right,right now?have we felt that there is a need to show to everybody out there that we can do it?have we once feel that the bond we had two years ago is back now?have we showed that we know that we're all going to make it through together?

it really isn't about a part wanting it so badly,but yet the other just let it lying.because we all know nothing we want will be what we will get if this continues.it's really about how everyone's going to do everything together.if someone breaks down,it naturally means that the thirty plus people remaining breaks down too.it just take 1,only 1,to break all other 30.have we already built up the bond such that the rest of the thirty people will know when just one is not with us?or do we not remember at all?

when is it that we're going to realise that everything that we do now is for a greater cause?&that all the effort put in now,is for a greater tomorrow.it's not only just for us,ourselves,but also for the people in the next few years,or maybe centuries.i know that we don't have much of all the school's support now whtsoever,but if we're going to give up now,does that really show that we really do not have any hope?if we all feel that it's alrdy up till our limits&we no longer want to put in any effort,does that mean you all are giving up hopes on yourselves,or seniors?

perhaps some of you can't stand it when laoshi criticises us.but think again,sometimes he does make sense right?if..he can acty see all our flaws&nothing else,does that really mean those flaws are the only things that we're showing him?where is the bond which pulls us together in the past,where is the drive we once had,where is the spirit to care for one another&really try to understand how others are feeling now?if you feel like breaking down now,think again,how about the rest who're going through more mental torments than you?why can others do the things you can't do,because they're naturally smarter than you,or is it just because they've tried alot times harder than you,&that they know that they want it,ten times more than you?

don't say you hate coming for guzheng lessons,because by just one such sentence from any of you,it means that you hate the rest of the people there,&that there is nothing else worth for you to come.&that all that we've done,&the effort that we've put in is all crap.i know we're all going through this very rough patch now,like how we try but yet can't break through all those boundaries.but really,just by knowing any of you who feel slike letting go,give up hopes on all the rest of us,it really hurts alot.is there really nothing else for you to reminiscence?

&aircon..would you guys rather be back to the past where we do not have any air conditions to enjoy?would you guys rather endure lessons without any breeze?if that is so..we can continue the next lesson without air cons/fans.&perhaps the best that we can do is to open the windows.is that really what you guys want,after we've went forward to request for all our air cons to be fixed?would bringing a hoodie/sweater along be too much of a chore for all of us to enjoy the breeze&have lessons under a better condition?is it really that hard..to bring along what you need for what we alrdy have?think again.

i know that perhaps you won't feel the same as we do,because we may see the crisis nearer than you guys do.it's going to our last yr soon,&for the sec2s,your last SYF too.we really want to make the best out of the things we have to get the best.really,we need to make this happening.we want laoshi to stay,we want laoshi to find the hopes on us back again,we want laoshi to know that we really want to do this well,we want everyone to realise that each and everyone of us matters alot.we really do not want any of you to give up any hopes on ourselves,we hope all of you can hang on&realise that we're going through all these all together.because,we really need to.

hello all, it's been a month or so since we've stepped up.everything's like, passing us by so quickly.but true enough,i guess we haven't quite gotten used with all that we're facing now.i'm sure there'll be alot of changes in the coming future, but we'll make sure everyone gets used to it asap alright :D

we'll be,we as in sec3s,trying our best to figure out a way to let all you guys to know about this place or rather,site better so that everyone will have the courage to at least tag and have some involvements here.although i haven't been here for quite some time too.but well,we'll try our best(: to make every lesson more interesting,&to find the love and drive which all of us can share!

so yes,this will be a place,in future,where we'll update you guys with infomations&updates(: also,a place where we can interact.so feel free to do whtever you like here alright,except for spamming lar.we'll also do some adjustments to the after lessons announcements&monthly birthday celebrations, which you guys will be notified of soon.

now,what we're left to do is to show others from other ccas that we're different from them.we all need to realise that being in this cca,is not just about individual developments only.it's about groupwork,&the spirit.so juniors,please start getting your actions up back altogether!we really need to do this k.if we don't start doing our actions,laoshi will give up hope on us,then we'll be left with another teacher who can't help us,then we'll fail for syf,eventually we'll all regret k.

if we're going to do this,we're all going to put in our best!if it's just any one of you who is not doing the same thing as ours,it's only going to be failure.&i'm sure we don't want that to happen.because we'll all fall into pieces by then.we need to do it,&do it well.

it's really time to start loving one another,& retrieve the joy within every lesson.it's not about what we do,but acty about being together with one another which matters.the legend of cchmsgz must continue.

we shall hold our reputation of being the most bonded cca up high,we really must.because if we don't do so,we'll be failing you juniors,those seniors,&obviously,ourselves.we all know that it's not just the effort of sec3s which are going to salvage the whole situation.you all make a different.we're all a part,not apart.we're a family,where nobody needs to be shy about doing anything alright.

there's no difference among us.every junior are like siblings to any seniors,because we're all a family.we don't ask much from anyone about treating us differently or seeing us as people who are of higher standards or grades than you guys.because we're all the same,with the same roots.we're all a part of this family.it may not be big,but at least we feel the warmth.

i'm sure we all do not want to be overtaken by other ccas.if our love can't continue,other ccas will be far ahead of us.because if we stop here,while others grow a little as each day passes,we won't be able to catch up anymore.

Dear CCHMSGZ,

You and the members in it are cordially invited to a chalet that is happening on the 18th of May at downtown east. The chalet is organised my Kaying Fried Duck and all are welcomed. There shouldnt be any restriction to anyone of coming because everyone is part of it, its not compulsory but best if you turn up. You won't have to bring anything if you dun want to but you have to pay $5 to Javier Ng of 2HM if not you will not have anything to it then. You are allowed to stay overnight but do bring safety precautions. Time and things to bring would be informed to you at a later date.
The motive of this chalet is to make sure CCHMSGZ can bond even more with grauduated seniors and also among ourselves. Do bring some gay toy materials like balloon and water gun to make sure you would have a better time. Following would be some things you would have to take note :
1) You still have the pay even if you kindly offered to sponser food
2)$5 would not be included of entrance fee
3)Its best not to wear white because you know i know lah! (omg not formal liao lah)
4) Do bring yourself and your $5 most importantly if you dont pass you money before chalet

Hey,ppl.GUZHENG LESSONS will stop from this friday, until after exams. We will inform you all further on the details. alright,here i am.with nothing much but to cover javier's post.alright,no i'm just joking :D

so,updates for guzheng outing.currently i'm not very sure about when the outing can be because majority can make it on only monday or tuesday. the clit people having to attend some talk in nyjc which ends at 3pm on monday&1pm on tuesday.& then most of the sec1s have to attend some sessions of workshop on both monday and tuesday which ends around evening.other than that&people who can't make it,i guess the rest are okaye.sec4s have remedial on wednesday-friday,sec3s will have workshop with sec4s.so,i'm not sure whether it can be sunday or not,basically because perhaps there will be ~~monday blues~~ family day.&tanann,your majesty can't make it.

but tentatively,it shall be on tuesday.meeting time will be around 2-3pm.please note,it's the meeting time,not duration.& please make a choice out of the choices:
-movielunch at marina
-escape theme park
-kallang leisure park
-picnic at ecp

please remember to bring your guzheng tee(which is apparantly,the most important),your zhijia(which is also,as important).i'm not sure about having to bring tuners or not actually,because you have it at zheng pros.but yea,in case of any emergencies,bring your tuner along too.don't tell me it makes alot of difference to the weight of your bag because that's totally crap.& i know some of you are just lazy to walk over to your tuner&throw it in your bags,like me.but still,make the effort to do so,alright!

hey everyone! A year seems to end really fast,and seniors have already graduated.This year we went through a lot, syf,performances and memorable outings spent together with our dearest cchmsgz ppl! Without your, there will not be strong bonding,friendship built between us. For this post, i just want to say thanks to the seniors for everything they do and we really love them!

Seniors(yunhan,weisheng,yi hui,angelina,,angel,kaying,selina): There will not be enough times to say thank-you to all of you. You have all done great job, i can understand the efforts and thoughts your put in to make cchmsgz so successful. Your are the BEST SENIORS in the world, giving us great support in whatever we do and always be there for us when we needed you guys. Your never stop helping us,doing the best of what you can achieve. You make us really PROUD to have you as seniors. Haha.This is like the first time blogging in gz blog. Somehow feeling the need to blog now, for alot of purpose perhaps? Today's lesson used my awful voice to sing the rythme of 'mi du shan ge',hopefully i didn sound too bad.Actu i did feel abit weird leading the song,and well sry to some ppl(my pose),not trying to be so em...haha.Looking forward to our dec camp,hopefully u guys too are looking forward too? whhooohoo time flies and even since we started countdown-ing the start of this month, it is just barely 13hrs from now. the long road that we have all walked thru before we reached what we are today.the endless efforts and practice are all going to show on stage in that short 8 minutes tmr! so we gna take this chance seriously and give it our bestest shot.this chance only comes once in two years and to the sec3s and 4s, this is our last chance. so let's treasure tmr no matter what the results would be. tmr once we step out of cchmsgz, we are gna tell ourselves the judges are not going to judge who we are but rather we are gna judge who we are! just do our best, look confident and enjoy the playing. no matter what stands in our way, we gta prove that they are not impossible to overcome. alright here it is. after all the hard work we put in, all that we endured for the past few mths, tmr's finally the day. well i guess thr isnt much to say at this point in time alrdy but yup, i hope we'll give it our best shot tmr for that 8 min on stage. no matter what the result is, good or bad, expected or unexpected, i hope all of you will be proud of yourselves for all the effort that you've put in for cchmsgz, and all the time that you've sacrificed, esp this period since syf's arnd the corner and mid yr jus so happened to clash with it.

Anyway just want to add on a bit to what Angel said: It's true, guzheng has always been the slackest (? in terms of practice hours) performing arts CCA.. Just look around yourselves and I'm sure you all realise that CCAs like Band and CO require members to go back to school on Saturday. which is totally o.O

But actually my point is. I just want you all to realise the confidence/faith Mr Tan has in you all. I mean let's face it, approximately ten more days but yet he's keeping the practice hours normal. That actually shows that he BELIEVES YOU ALL CAN DO IT even with those four hours a week. Which makes it even more crucial for full attendance.

So let's not let him down, alright? More importantly, your Sec4 seniors. They've put in a lot of effort, organising fulldress rehearsals, going around to buy makeup/tiaras, finding people to help with hair/makeup on the actual day .......... You all know they're having Olevels this year and yea, MYEs are coming soon. So talking about stress, who's facing the bulk of it? They are the ones, seriously. But have you ever heard them complain? Never. Because when you're doing something for the sake of something you love, people you cherish.. the last thing you'll be thinking about will be complaining. Because it's become a natural instinct, to protect the best interests of those under you

I know whatever I'm saying above might not make sense because most of you are not experiencing it ... yet. But that day will come.

hey to all cchmsgz, this morning wasnt a lecture to scold all of you all. it's just what we wna tell you to make you all realise the imptance of everyone of you and how every practice actually matters. if everyone puts their full heart and soul into guzheng, we'll definitely overcome the impossible and mayb even clinched a gold with honours.yes, it'll be a big jump but nobody says it's impossible yup and im sure cchmsgz can create the first miracle ever! so now treat every practices like the real syf where you have only one chance to give your bestest shot. we have only eight minutes on stage and that eight minutes actually shows the hard work that we have went thru all these while. all the practices that we have been having is to showcase all that we have in that short eight minutes.

i know everyone of you have already knew how to play the two syf songs.and that you guys find that coming guzheng is just mere playing the same songs ovr and ovr again and there's no point in attendg lessons. but do you all know that syf is not just knowing how to play.there's so much more involved.it's more of building rapport and the dynamics. if there's always no 100% attendance, there's no way we can know where we should improve and how much more effort we have to put in.every effort counts!i know that for many of you studies is v impt and thr ar a lot of test and so on.but if everybody is to think it that way, nobody would turn up for cca alrd.treat guzheng as a passion and not just merely a cca where you just go practice and leave.im sure there are surely lots of memories that you ever had.and everybody please do treasure the times you have in cchmsgz cos they will be the only experience.if you do not experience it now, im sure you will in the near future,really.

and to any new sec1s who happen to see this. all i wna say to you guys is that we rly appreciate the help that you all are gna give tmr. i know many of you all are stl not very into guzheng yet. and most of you find that coming guzheng is not very useful. for this point i think we'll have to apologise to you all first. cos of syf, we haven been having real practices w yall. and many of us end our classes at 2.15pm and so we might not rush in time to have practice w you guys.but i promise aft syf, everything will be much better.we'll then focus on all the songs that you all are learning yeah.so meanwhile bear with us and put in your best in helpg out in syf yup. you all are important!

so maybe to many in cchmsgz, guzheng is just a CCA. maybe all those hard work we put in for SYF, it's just because guzheng's our CCA and we're obliged to do so. maybe all those little jokes we shared, the fun we had were all nothing to them.

have none of you really treated guzheng as a passion?

yes, we all know, it gets boring once we play and replay the same songs over and over agn. we all get bored of it. but if all of us were to just give up and walk off, whr's cchmsgz gna be when SYF's gng on? happily in sch playing different songs so we wont get bored?

we'll get past this. once SYF's over, we'll be playing all sorts of songs, getting ready for the june concert. for now, cchmsgz needs every one of you. every single one of you means sth to cchmsgz.

evryone in cchmsgz is gng through the same thing. why is it that some can be so enthusiastic while some are just busy slacking away? if you think that it's so meaningless to go for practices, i guess it'd haven been better if you had requested not to take part in SYF long ago.

SYF's approaching and yet thr are ppl who dont seem to be bothered abt it. maybe we havent been pushing you all enough like the other CCAs so you all dontknw how it's like for the other SYF participants. others are having millions of extra practices jus to brush up on little details to achieve their gold with honours while we are still having normal lessons.

here's a little sth to angelina and yunhan: dont be discouraged, we can make it :) dont lose hope because of wht happened today! esp ahnam, you're always such a pessimist. now come on, as cchmsgz vice-chair, you gotta set a good example alright. believe it, believe that we can make it, because i do. i understand why you two were so down today, but thr's nth you can do to change the fact that some juniors actually find CCA such a torture. still, we can try our best to make practices more enjoyable and slowly change their mindsets. no point feeling so disappointed right?

wells wells exams are coming and i guess this blog will be getg more dead yeah. to the sec4s, GOOD LUCK for prelims! and to sec2s, must JIAYOU for streaming this year! and to fellow sec3s, this yr is a duper tough one bt come to think of it, it dont rly matters alot as the thing that we wants to score in eventually is still the o's and there's still a yr to it. that may be a way to make us not to feel that stress uh. (: and of cos sec1s must also jiayou cos it's always good to da hao ji chu! xD

and today get to pon assembly cos have to take stock for the guzheng stuff. end up have to count how many old, new gz and how many cases, how many tuning folks, how many music stands etc etc. it's rrlyy madd. LOL! it should be a nice things ponning assembly but it's duper tiring carrying the gz and checkg whether every single one including those in the cases whether got zhuan zuo not. isnt this dumb? HAHA

oki dokie and guzheng lesson stops from now onwards till wk 7 of this term after the exams. take care everybody!

i knw evryone's interested in camp. so fellow sec 3s, let's start organising, wooooooots-! jus that i'd prefer a better slping spot this time round, and more enthu ppl. not that im saying thr's not enough of us or we're unenthu, but it'd be nicer with more ppl, right? so this time round HAHA we need our deardear seniors to come back and help us out. oh and yea, 1 thing you guys gotta note, when you put who's in-charge of wht, pls rmbr not to put yandao in charge of punishments.

anw, we alrdy started planning for the nightwalk last night, while having dinner. heh, this time's nightwalk's gna be like, 10 times scarier and creepier. and thank god sec 3s wldnt need to go through it LOL so it's more of a torture for our beloved juniors. yayness, i cant wait for dec to come.

thrfore i urge all of you, seniors and juniors, to pls remain in sg until the camp's over. otherwise you'd miss all the bondings and fun and jokes and ah, whtevr you can learn from camp experience. HAHA im promoting camp luh.

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY EVE EVE :D

okay number one question to pearlyn from, well, pearlyn: why does pearlyn always blog on the eves of events. WAHAHA. like the previous national day post. LOL! okay i know this is super dumb i am talking to myself again (as always) -.-

anyway I AM HERE TO REVIVE THE BLOG. since, i'm the eh, PEARLYN-THE-GREAT founder who landed on the commercial site called cchmsgz.blogspot.com on a uhm, submarine like uhm, a few months ago. now i am going to be like stamford raffles who found singapore and who built it into a flourishing country !@#$%^&* ER okay i have no idea where this is leading. WAHAHA. anyway, if you're feeling very busy tonight i suggest you'd better stop reading HERE. lol!

anyway how's life people? and this is so contradicting, cause apparently the blog is to blog bout uhm, more guzheng-ish stuff like your outings and yeah, whatevers cause afterall it is a GUZHENG blog. however a survey seems to show that an already-UNguzhenged crazy mad whatever is here more frequently then YOU ALL. TSK. lol

OH DID I MENTION I WAS 43RD FOR X-COUNTRY. i really ran, CAN. lol. it's not very good lar huh but cmon, i am an asthetic xDDD and am no sports enthusiast. so. quite an accomplishment. WAHAHA. i know grace &joys ran too :D the rest, TSKTSK xD

hm and i heard that there's like great stress for sec3s yeh. what crazy tests everyday and such. everyone jia you okay! pull through! :DD afterall, you all have great seniors who are fairly eh, okay with studies and subjects so yup, anytime if you need help! :D second and third floors of new block! just cross the bridge and meet niu lang and zhi nu. LOL. oh the bridge is effectively useless now because of practical exams. HM. anyhow, we're still here and will try to help if you need help :D since, i know you know they know WE KNOW, that we're all nice people xDDD
